Damn it has been a while! I have really honestly tried to keep this thing updated, but things have been crazy lately.
A few weeks ago we said goodbye to the Excursion. The vehicle drove like a dream when it wasn't in the damn shop. I think Katrinda was calling me every other week to tell me that the truck wouldn't start. Well we broke down and bought a Nissan Quest and joined the ranks of the mini van drivers. Before I even made my first payment on it a dump truck stopped in the middle of the road and backed into it causing almost $4000 in damage. Hopefully Katrinda will get it back from the body shop today.
Teran is still growing like a weed. She is talking a lot more, especially if she is wanting something. Here is one of her Christmas pictures:

Katrinda finished up her Playa hata Degree (PhD) and graduated in December.
Things have been about the same in the motorsports department. I have been kicking ass in the raw time department, but I am still having my ass handed to me in the pro class.
In the world of firearms I have added a few more to the collection. My father in law gave me a Berretta 1931 (chambered in .32). It had a lot of rust on it. The folks at Coal Creek Armory (CCA) were nice enough to dissassemble it for me. I cleaned it up real good and they reassembled it for me as well. It shoots pretty well if you use the "cheap" Winchester White Box. It does not like to feed any sort of good hollow points.
I also bought a MAK-90, Universal M-1 Carbine, and a Yugo SKS from the nice folks over at CCA. I ended up selling the M-1 for what I had in it. I replaced the furniture on the MAK-90 with some nice black plastic stuff from Tapco and added a new dust cover with an integrated rail and a red dot scope. This should keep the zombies at bay. I have not even had an oppurtunity to fire the SKS yet.
I had some Christmas/birthday money burning a whole in my pocket so this past weekend I bought a stripped Mega lower reciever, DPMS parts kit and stock and a Rock River Arms mag block. I also put a Rock River Arms 9mm upper on lay-away, which I'll probably pick up in a week or two. So last night I started construction of my 9mm AR-15 build. I ordered a few more tools to help with this. I am hoping by the 27th that I will have another fully functional exothermic hole puncher in the collection.
I am still travelling practically every weekend between Columbia, SC and Knoxville. However, it looks like there is about a 95% chance that we will be moving down there. I really look forward to being able to see my girls everyday, but I really will miss living in Knoxville.
